📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Drive For Five. This week, the journey officially begins.

All season long has led to this week in Stillwater. Another NCAA regional. Another opportunity to try and battle their way to OKC.

Entering this season, the Cowgirls have reached a program record four straight trip Women’s College World Series. The hunt for five begins on Friday when Kentucky faces Michigan at 2pm, followed by OSU and Northern Colorado at 4:30 p.m.

🔺 Welcome Aboard, Cowboy. A familiar face will suit up for Coach Lutz this season as Brandon Newman, a Western Kentucky transfer, officially joined his former coach in Stillwater.

The 6-foot-5 Newman, who is described as a "shooting wing", has been part championship runs in both the Big Ten and Conference USA. His teams have combined for nearly 100 wins in four seasons (98-36, .731).

Newman was the second-leading scorer and an honorable mention all-conference performer for Lutz at Western Kentucky. He started all 34 games, averaging 10.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals while knocking down 51 threes.

Newman was at his best late in the year, reaching double-figures in eight of the last 12 games.

🔺 One Down, Two To Go. There’s nothing like tourney time.

Seeded fifth at the NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regional, the Cowboys jumped out in Monday’s opening round with a 2-under, 278 to sit in second place.

The event is one of six 54-hole regional tournaments being conducted around the country. The top five teams and low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.

Fifth year Rayhan Thomas paced the OSU starting five, firing a 3-under 67 to stand alone in second place and a shot behind California's Sampson Zheng.

🎥 THEY’REEE BACCKKK

All spring long has led to this.

Another chance to fight for a spot in OKC. A fifth straight trip to the WCWS on the line.

It all starts this week.

Relive the drama, thrills and battles fought by last year’s squad as they reached the Women’s College World Series.
