Pokes Post Most Lopsided Bedlam Series Win EVER
TGIF Pokes. Is there anything better than seeing this thing lifted into the sky over and over again?
That was a frequent occurrence for the Pokes this past year - at a record pace in fact!
We’ll recap that and much more in today’s Brew! Check it out below!

🤠 And so much more!
🏆 AND IT ENDS WITH STATE!
Now that’s how you make a STATEment.
For the ninth time in the last 11 years, Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma
in the all-sports Phillips 66 Bedlam Series and this time, it was
of historic proportions.
The final score of 21-9 marked the largest margin of victory for either
school in Bedlam Series history. Before this year, the most lopsided all-sports Bedlam Series score came in 2020-21, when OSU was a 23-12 winner.
The Bedlam Series is calculated by straight wins and losses in head-to-head competition. In sports where there is no head-to-head matchup, the
Big 12 Championship final standings are used.
🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 64 DAYS
Number of the Day: 64.
Today, we honor former OSU offensive lineman, #64 Jesse Robinson.
During his time in Stillwater, Robinson protected the QB, now, he’s protecting lives as an EMT and back in 2021, he literally helped save lives.

🔼 Connect Four. For a fourth consecutive year, Oklahoma State earned a top-25 national finish in the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings. In the yearly standings which evaluates success amongst all sports, the Pokes finished 19th in 2023-24.
Of Oklahoma State's 18 varsity sports, eight posted top-10 national finishes and 15 had top-30 national finishes.
The Learfield Directors' Cup measures the success of each sports program evenly and does not weigh the success in one sport above the success in another.
OSU teams that placed in the top 10 of the 2023-24 Learfield Directors' Cup standings were men's cross country (first), women's cross country (third), men's indoor track and field (seventh), softball (seventh), women's indoor track and field (eighth), women's tennis (ninth) and wrestling (10th). Equestrian placed third, but does not get counted since it is an NCEA sport.
🔼 Dance Partners. The OSU basketball season is still several months away, but the dance partners are set for what will again be a very competitive Big 12 slate.
On Thursday, the conference released its schedule matrix for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: Shot put, of course!
In 2022, Jackson became the first American woman to win a world championship in the Shot Put in 2022. Jackson also holds the American record in the event and is a two-time Diamond League winner, in addition to her silver and bronze medals at the 2022 and 2024 indoor championships.
Jackson will be competing in the Shot Put First Round Friday night starting at 9:15 p.m. CT, with the top 12 athletes moving onto the final after three throws each. The Shot Put Final is Saturday at 7:50 p.m. CT, with the top three athletes moving onto Paris if they have the Olympic standard or enough World Athletics ranking points.
🤠 Let’s have a great weekend, y’all!
