📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Well-Earned Praise. With a historic win on Saturday, the Cowboys continued to earn the praise and attention of the rest of the country.

After taking down No. 9 Oklahoma in the final scheduled Bedlam football game, 27-24, Saturday, OSU was named the Cheez-It National Team of the Week.

In front of an over-capacity crowd at Boone Pickens Stadium, the Cowboys knocked off the Sooners to earn a tie with Texas for first place in the Big 12 standings.

This is the fourth time Oklahoma State has earned the national team of the week honor from the FWAA and the first time it has received the honor since a 38-35 win over No. 10 Texas on Oct. 27, 2018.

🔼 Twice As Nice. This time, OG2 has some company.

For the fourth consecutive week, Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II has been named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. This time, he had some Cowboy company as teammate Xavier Benson earned his first career Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

OG2 is just the second player in Big 12 history to get the honor in four straight weeks. He had another impressive performance this past Saturday, producing 156 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' 27-24 Bedlam win over No. 9 Oklahoma.

The sophomore has now rushed for 100+ yards in six straight games, which ties for the sixth-longest streak in program history.

Benson was all over the field in Saturday's win over OU, recording seven tackles, a sack, a quarterback hurry, a forced fumble, fumble recovery and three tackles for loss, which is the most by a Cowboy this season and the most by any Big 12 player this week.

The senior linebacker is the first Big 12 player since UT's Joseph Ossai in 2020 to record at least three tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in one game.

🔼 Double The Pleasure. Any time you accomplish something that hasn’t happened in 30 years, it’s pretty special.

Freshman Stailee Heard had quite an impressive debut on Monday as the Sapulpa, Oklahoma native poured in 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the season-opening victory over SIUE.

Her effort marked the first time since 1993 that a freshman had a double-double in their OSU debut.

🏀 KICKIN’ IT WITH Q

Senior transfer guard Rylee Langerman brings a lot to the 2023-24 Cowgirls Basketball team.

The Norman, Oklahoma native spent three seasons at Arkansas before transferring to Oklahoma State for her fourth collegiate season. Langerman is a pre-med major following in the footsteps of her father and several other family members in the medical field.

Learn more about Langerman as she sits down with her teammate Quincy Nobles in this episode of Kickin' It With Q.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
