Meanwhile, at the Tom Jones Invitational, Mehdi Yanouri made OSU history, breaking Paul Larkins' 37-year-old record in the outdoor 800 Meters. Yanouri crossed the finish line with a scorching time of 1:46.96 to beat Larkins' long-standing record.
Up next, the Cowboys and Cowgirls will look towards another multi-meet weekend at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the John Jacobs Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma.
🔼 A Special Season. Oklahoma State's equestrian team saw its season come to an end with a 14-6 setback against Auburn in the semifinals of the NCEA National Championship in Ocala, Florida.
The Cowgirls' season concludes with a 9-5 record, including eight ranked wins as well as a third-consecutive Big 12 Conference title. They also advanced to the semifinal of the NCEA National Championship for the fourth-straight season in which the championship was held.
🔼 Back On Track. Oklahoma State rallied for six runs in the eighth inning to win this weekend's series finale 11-6 against West Virginia at O'Brate Stadium.
The win snapped OSU's five-game losing streak as the 14th-ranked Cowboys improved to 24-13 overall and 8-7 in Big 12 play, while the 25th-ranked Mountaineers fell to 25-11 and 5-4 in the Big 12.
The Cowboys will be back in action tomorrow at O'Brate Stadium for the first Bedlam matchup of the season. First pitch is set for 6:00pm CT for the non-conference bout against Oklahoma.

Next up, they didn't falter in the regular season finale. The team picked up its seventh conference victory of the season on Sunday, taking down Kansas State in Manhattan, 4-1.
The Cowgirls finished the regular season with records of 14-6 overall and 7-2 in conference play to prove that OSU belong on college tennis' biggest stage. They'll now turn their attention to the postseason, with the Big 12 Women's Tennis Championships slated to start on Thursday in Lawrence, Kansas.
🔼 Canned Corn. The Cowgirls did what they do best this weekend and they took home another series win. Let's dive in.
It started strong, with a win. Kelly Maxwell led the way with a dazzling 11-strikeout performance to propel No. 3/3 Oklahoma State softball to a 5-2 victory over Iowa State in Game 1 on Friday evening at Cowgirl Stadium.
And they didn't stop there. They secured the series thanks to Lexi Kilfoyl and her three-hit complete game as the team came from behind to win 3-2 over the Cyclones the next day.
But they did fall just short of a sweep. Iowa State's 11th-inning RBI single proved to be the difference as the Pokes fell in 11 innings by the score of 3-2 in Game 3 yesterday.
With the results, the Pokes moved to 39-4 and 8-1 in Big 12 play, while Iowa State moved to 14-25 and 2-10 against conference opposition. The Pokes are back in action for a ranked matchup in Stillwater tomorrow against No. 20/23 Wichita State. First pitch is slated for 6:00pm CT.
