🏈 ALL IN THE FAMILY

📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Golden Hour. We’re not sure what the sunsets looked like this weekend out west, but grad student Bailey Golden provided her own golden hour.
Golden’s performance in the Heptathlon at the Jim Click Shootout highlighted another busy weekend for the track & field squads.
In Tucson, Golden broke the previous school record with a score of 5,887 points, which cleared her previous personal best by 82 points. The mark is the third highest total in the NCAA currently as she won four of the seven events overall.
🔺 Senior Salute. While the OSU men’s tennis squad has plenty more tennis to play at the Greenwood Tennis Center, Sunday was a special day on the courts.
In the regular season finale for the Cowboys, OSU honored their three seniors prior to the match against #31 Baylor and promptly carried that energy into play, taking home a big 4-2 victory over the Bears.
Senior Tyler Zink, who entered the match ranked #23 nationally, closed out his regular season home career in style, picking up a singles and doubles victory to lead the charge for the Pokes.
🔺 Ticket Punched. Add another Cowboy to the invite list.
This past weekend, Christian Carroll joined fellow Cowboys Daton Fix and Alex Dieringer at the Olympic Team Trials with his showing at this past weekend’s Last Chance Qualifier in Fairfax, Va.
Carroll, who entered the weekend seeded fourth at 97 kg, outscored opponents 42-7 and accumulated three technical falls on his way to the title.
The Olympic Team Trials are set for April 19-20 at Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pa.
🏀 WELCOME HOME, COWBOY!
Before we know it, Coach Lutz and the Cowboys will be taking
the floor at Gallagher-Iba Arena to do battle with the opposition.
But last week, Lutz made his first impression
with the OSU family at the introductory press conference.
After last week’s introductory presser, Coach Lutz stepped into the media scrum. | Myles Smith is one of the first players coached by Coach Lutz in his first ever head coaching job. |
