Camp is officially over as kickoff week is here and
preparation for Game 1 is well underway in Stillwater.

As the Cowboys prepare for the 2024 season, there’s no better
way for Pokes fan to prepare than go behind the scenes of
fall camp with OSUMax’s Embrace The Grind.

🔼 Kickoff Week Is Here. It’s been eight grueling months of waiting, but Cowboy football is officially back on the gridiron this Saturday!

No better way to start of the fall than one of the best FCS programs in the country coming to Stillwater to test the Cowboys right away.

A stable of talented returners, a slew of highly-touted new faces, what a fall we have in store at BPS.

🔼 Connect Four. For the first time since 2017, the Cowgirls are a perfect 4-0.

OSU put together a dominating performance at home over Central Arkansas, taking down the Bears, 4-0 for the fourth straight shutout of the season for the squad.

Leading the way offensively was Nicole Ray, who fired home two goals in the victory. Mollie Breiner and Alex Morris also got in on the scoring, with Morris also tallying an assist on the day.

Protecting the goal, Grace Gordon and Logan Marks combined for the shutout.

🔼 On To The Ship. With two top-30 performances at the BMW Championships this past weekend, former OSU standouts Wyndham Clark and Viktor Hovland secured their spots in the TOUR Championship next week in Atlanta, Ga.

Clark, who finished 13th this past weekend will enter ranked eighth overall in the FedEx Cup standings, while Hovland’s 26th place finished sits him at 17th among the top 30 golfers playing in the final event of the season.

Another former Cowboy, Alex Noren, finished the year strong with three top-15 finishes in the final five events, including a ninth place finish this past weekend. Noren narrowly misses a top-30 spot for the TOUR Championship, sitting 37th.

🔼 Howdy Partner. Late last week, the OSU men’s hoops program learned its dance partners for their early season trip to the Low Country at the 2024 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic.

The Cowboys will open up three games in four days against 2023 Final Four participant Florida Atlantic as the two will meet in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 1:30 pm CT.

OSU will then meet either Miami or Drake the following day, followed by the final game of the event on Nov. 24

⏱ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: ✋ DAYS

As we mentioned, the OSU football squad has a slew of talented returners,
like junior safety, #5 Kendal Daniels.

Daniels burst onto the scene in 2022 with a Freshman All-American
season and followed that up last fall by earning
Honorable Mention All-Big 12 accolades.

In two seasons with the Cowboys, the Beggs, Okla. native has racked up 176 tackles, 12 TFLs, 11 pass deflections, five INTs, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.
