🎧 OSU MAX PODCASTS

The fellas are talking golf again, but thankfully, not about their golf game, we’re talking about this week’s Open Championship for five OSU alums.

Deion Imade and Clint Chelf break down the final major of the season, take a look at Big 12 Media Days and give their perspective on what summer workouts are like and how important they are to the team.

The boys talk all of that and more in this week’s brand new edition of the Old Pokes Show.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Course Generals. The oldest golf tournament in the world got a taste of the Orange and Black this past weekend as the 154th edition of the Open Championship featured five OSU alums in the field.

Four of those five golfers finished in the top-33 with three in the top-25.

Viktor Hovland captured off an incredible showing in the majors with his fourth top-20 showing of the year. He finished seventh at the Masters, second at the PGA Championship and 19th at the US Open. This weekend, he finished tied for 13th at 3-under par.

Rickie Fowler and Alex Noren both finished tied for 23rd at even par, while reigning US Open Champion Wyndham Clark finished tied for 33rd at 1-over for the weekend.

🔼 From Our Leader. No doubt about it.

OSU Athletics is on the rise and it’s taking over in so many sports. The Orange and Black success in competition, in the classroom and much more is at an all-time high.

As we head into the 2023-24 season, our leader, Chad Weiberg, wanted to reflect back on a year to remember, but preview what he’s excited about in our future!

The Cowboys are headed to Spain from Aug. 5-15 with scheduled stops in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.

In addition to extra practice reps, an OSU roster featuring nine new scholarship players will benefit from early tests against three international opponents. We’ll see some new faces in Stillwater and we’ll make some new road trips.

Those dance partners were announced last week by the Big 12 with the schedule pairings for 2023-24 being released.

🔼 New and Old Faces. Something special is happening here in Stillwater and people want to be a part of it.

We’ve thrilled to welcome back some familiar faces and excited to have a new one joining the family as well with the addition of some of our latest staff members.

The new site makes it easier than ever to gain access to Name, Image and Likeness opportunities with OSU student-athletes, to high-quality video storytelling with OSU Max, and to the Go Pokes app that is the primary mobile hub for tickets, team schedules and news, game day information, amenities and more.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 40 DAYS

Eight seasons.
40 home victories.

That’s right, since 2015, Boone Pickens Stadium has been quite friendly for the Cowboys, who have piled up 40 victories over those eight seasons.

Included in that stretch is the past two seasons, in which OSU is 13-1 at home.

In fact, dating back to the end of the 2019 season, the Cowboys have won 19 of its past 22 home games.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
