🔼 Sunday Showdown. The two teams are a combined 13-0 so far this season. Both have racked up multiple top-25 victories.
On Sunday, they square off at the mats at GIA with the third-ranked OSU wrestling squad welcoming the fifth-ranked Wolfpack of NC State to Stillwater for a 2pm showdown.
The Cowboys enter Sunday’s match with seven wrestlers ranked in the top-10 of their weight class, including Troy Spratley, who is the highest-ranked OSU star at #2 in the country.
🔼 Paging Dr. Langerman. For the past two seasons, Rylee Langerman has been an integral part of the OSU women’s hoops team and path to success that the Cowgirls are having this year.
And now, Langerman will be an integral part of Stillwater a little bit longer as this week, she received word that she’ll be a part Class of 2029 for OSU Medical School.
🔼 Called To The Hall. It’s not the first Hall of Fame call she’s received, and it might not even be her last.
The first and winningest head coach in Oklahoma State women's golf history, Ann Pitts, will be inducted to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame as part of its Class of 2025, announced by the organization this week.
Pitts founded OSU's varsity golf program in 1976 and – over the next 24 years – led the Cowgirls to 15 conference titles, 15 NCAA Championship appearances, five AIAW Championship bids and a program-record 56 team wins. Along the way she provided 19 All-Americans, 15 NGCA/WGCA All-American Scholars and 60 individual medalists.
The Tulsa native and 1961 OSU graduate is already a member of the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame (Class of 1995) and OSU Hall of Honor (Class of 2023). She will be formally inducted into the OSHF Hall of Fame on March 27, 2025 in Oklahoma City.
