🔼 Making A STATEment. Well folks, we guess it was worth the wait for one more night.

After having it’s top-five showdown pushed back a day, the third-ranked Cowboys delivered quite a statement on Monday night, absolutely dominating previously undefeated and fifth-ranked NC State, 34-3.

The 31-point win on Monday marked OSU's largest margin of victory over a top-five opponent since 1996 and the third biggest in program history.

With another 30-point team performance, the Cowboys have also now surpassed 30 points in each of the first eight duals of a season for the second time in the program's 111-year history, with the other being the first 10 duals in 1987-88.

Now over halfway through the regular season, the scorching Cowboys have beaten their opponents by an average of 30.4, which would rank third best in program history if the season ended today.

🔼 New Number, Who Dis? Most of this year’s Cowgirls were enjoying their high school days the last time OSU earned a spot in the national top-25.

This year’s group changed that with a 14-2 start overall and 4-1 in league play, including a home win over #17 West Virginia on Saturday, earned the Cowgirls a spot at #24 in this week’s latest AP Poll.

It’s the first time since the 2017-18 season that OSU women’s hoops has been ranked.

The Cowgirls put that ranking to the test right away with a road matchup in Houston tonight at 7 pm.

🔼 Poll Position. Diamond season will open up next month for the Cowboys and Cowgirls and expectations are high in Stillwater for both spring squads.

On Monday, the softball squad earned a Preseason Ranking of 4️⃣ by Softball America, while D1Baseball slid the baseball boys in at #17 heading into the 2025 season.
