🤠 And much more!
🎥 OSUMAX: STILL THE KING
Hat tip to Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, but the single-season
college football rushing king still wears America’s Brightest Orange.
No better way to relive that season and Barry’s entire career in Stillwater than with the OSUMax Original, “Barry Sanders: Out Of Nowhere.”
Through exclusive interviews with his family, close friends,
former teammates, coaches and Barry himself,
Barry Sanders: Out of Nowhere provides an
unprecedented glimpse into the Cowboy icon.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 We’ll Take A Dozen, Please. It may have come several hours after the ball dropped in Times Square, but the OSU women’s hoops squad set off their own fireworks in Waco on Wednesday afternoon.
Tenin Magassa led five Cowgirls in double-figures as the Pokes improved to 12-1 on the year with a dominant 84-61 road win at Baylor on New Year’s Day.
Magassa finished with 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting to lead OSU, who finished the game shooting at a 55.2-percent clip. Stailee Heard (14 pts), Anna Gret Asi (13 pts), Alexia Smith (11 pts) and Macey Huard (11 pts) all finished in double-figures as well.
🔼 Friday Night Fights. While the rest of us were exchanging gifts and stuffing our faces with holiday treats, the third-ranked Cowboys were focused on doing more damage in 2025.
That journey starts back up tomorrow night when OSU hosts Air Force at GIA for a Friday night showdown. Action gets underway at 7 pm.
🔼 Golfing With A Purpose. Sophomore standout Gaven Lane had quite an experience over the holiday break.
No, he didn’t get a PS5 (although, maybe he did?), he competed at the annual Patriot All-America Invitational in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
Playing with 84 of the top male collegiate golfers, Lane fired a 66-69-69 to earn a top-10 finish, tying for seventh in the loaded field.
The annual event provides players with a unique-bowl like experience, while also honoring our military heroes. At the opening ceremony, each golfer receives and carries a commemorative PING golf bag that bears the name and branch of a fallen or wounded hero. Additionally, all of the golfers have the opportunity to visit Luke Air Force Base, the training center for our nation’s F-35 fighter pilots. There, they meet with the General, fighter pilots and crew, and tour the base while participating inactivities rarely seen by civilians.

TRADITION CONTINUES: A New Era for Cowboy Wrestling
