This spring will look a little different for the OSU football squad with plenty of new faces both in the locker room and on the sidelines.
On Thursday, Coach Gundy and new coordinators Todd Grantham and Doug Meacham and Athletic Director Chad Weiberg met with the media to answer questions and talk about what’s coming this spring for the Cowboys.

🔼 Playin’ Favorites. The season may still be a few weeks away, but expectations continue to rise for the OSU baseball program.
On Thursday, the Cowboys were named the preseason favorite in the Big 12, while slugger Nolan Schubart was named the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year.
In a vote of the league's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their team or players, OSU received nine of a possible 14 first-place votes. Arizona was picked to finish second and garnered four first-place votes, while TCU was third and received a single first-place vote.
Along with his player of the year selection, Schubart was a unanimous pick for the Preseason All-Big 12 Team and earned that distinction along with teammates Aidan Meola, Colin Brueggemann and Gabe Davis. OSU's four selections led the league.
🔼 On The Road Again. While the Cowboys have certainly enjoyed the comforts of home the past few weeks, it’s time to take the show on the road.
And this road ain’t an easy one.
The third-ranked Pokes will yet again face two of the top teams in the country with a Friday night showdown with #5 Northern Iowa, followed by a Sunday afternoon battle with #13 Iowa State.
Two top-15 teams, on the road, in conference. What a weekend in store.
🔼 Boost From The Bench. Marchelus Avery delighted the GIA faithful earlier this week, lighting it up from long range and pouring in a season-high 21 points in the outing.
For his performance, Avery was named the Big 12 Bench Performer of the Week.
On the season, Avery is averaging 12.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for the Cowboys.
🎥 FRESH FACES
Plenty of new faces on the sidelines this spring for the Cowboys,
including new special teams coordinator, Sean Snyder.
