Veteran keeper Grace Gordon used her birthday to notch her 9️⃣th shutout of the season, helping OSU’s women’s soccer squad to a 3-0 victory over Houston in Big 12 action on Thursday night at Neal Patterson Stadium.

The Cowgirls scored its three goals in the first 12:28 as Alex Morris, Gracie Bindbeutel and Xcaret Pineda found the back of the net.

🔼 Lights, Camera, Action. We’re less than a month from the return of OSU Hoops and this week, the Pokes locked in some time in the spotlight.

Some of the first national TV times were announced this week with the Cowboys being slated for the national spotlight 11 times, while the Cowgirls will be hosted on ESPN2 and ESPNU twice this upcoming season.

🔼 Orange October. With the MLB playoffs dominate the sports scene this time of year, October is no stranger to the Cowboys baseball squad.

This week, OSU earned some national praise as D1Baseball is ranking their top-100 programs and sits the Cowboys at #19 nationally.

🔼 Turning Heads. With three weeks left in the regular season, a pair of Cowgirls were recognized among the nation’s best by TopDrawerSoccer.

Veteran center back Mollie Breiner was ranked #27 in the women’s top 100 players, while Alex Morris earned a spot at #93 on the nation’s top 100 underclassmen.
