🔼 Smart Defense. Linebacker Ethan Wesloski is one of 18 national finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy, recognizing excellence in academics, football and leadership. The linebacker becomes Oklahoma State’s sixth NFF National Scholar-Athlete and will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship. He’s backing up that classroom résumé on the field, too, averaging 10.3 tackles per game, good for second among Power Four players.
🔼 Thursday Night Lights. There are just two more chances to catch Cowgirl soccer at home this regular season, starting with Utah tonight at 7 p.m. Oklahoma State is unbeaten in its two previous meetings with the Utes.
🔼 Full Circle. Former Cowboy football player Donovan Woods is back with Oklahoma State Athletics as Associate Athletic Director of Development for the OSU Foundation. After more than 12 years working with the Foundation, he will help build support for OSU Athletics.
🔼 Pro Pokes. Let’s see how the Pro Pokes performed in week six of the NFL.
Chuba Hubbard (Carolina Panthers) rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown. This marks his second-straight 100-yard game.
Jaylen Warren (Pittsburgh Steelers) rushed for 50 yards and caught two passes for 28 yards to beat Tampa Bay.
🔼 Finished Strong. Oklahoma State women's golf earned a runner-up finish at The Fin, climbing from fourth after the opening round to second overall. Marta Silchenko led OSU with a sixth-place individual finish, while Tarapath Panya shot a final-round 70 to jump 15 spots into ninth. After winning The Ally earlier this month, the Cowgirls have now recorded consecutive top-two finishes heading into next week's East Lake Cup.
