🔼 High Five! With the season opener just around the corner, the OSU wrestling program will head into its upcoming campaign as the #5 team in the country.

On Wednesday, the Cowboys were slotted at No. No. 5 team in the NWCA Coaches poll.

As for individual rankings, Intermat's latest set of preseason rankings had nine Cowboys listed, including six in the top 10 at their respective weight classes.

🔼 Making The List. Tip-off is just four days away for the OSU women’s hoops program and the Cowgirls continue to roll in the preseason accolades.

On Wednesday, OSU junior Stailee Heard was named named to the 20-player watch list for the Cheryl Miller Award.

The Cheryl Miller Award, one of five Naismith Starting Five awards, recognizes the best small forward in women's college basketball. The award is in its ninth year and named after the three-time Naismith Player of the Year.

A unanimous All-Big 12 pick entering this year, Heard is coming off a sophomore campaign in which she earned honorable mention All-America status and was a first-team All-Big 12 selection. Additionally, she was named to the USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Midseason Watch List.

🔼 Just Getting Started. Another week on the NFL schedule, another week of the Pro Pokes showin’ out.

Highlighting several OSU alums performances this past week was Dolphins rookie, Ollie Gordon II. 

Gordon, a sixth-round pick in April's draft, posted career highs in both touches (11) and scrimmage yards (66) and scored the first receiving touchdown of his young career on Sunday. The 2023 Doak Walker Award winner turned 10 carries into 46 yards and high-stepped into the endzone on his lone reception of the day for a 20-yard score.
