🔼 Statement Made. Welcome To the David Taylor era, folks.

The third-ranked Cowboys opened the 2024-2025 dual meet schedule with a statement weekend, outscoring their opponents 74-9 in the first two matches of the year.

On Friday, they rolled past Utah Valley State, 38-6, before dominating #24 Oregon State, 36-3 on Sunday evening in Corvallis.

The 65 point margin of victory through the first two duals is the largest two-dual score advantage and point total to start a season since 2007-08.

🔼 See Y’all At Nattys. Time to expand that trophy case a little more.

For the second straight year, the OSU cross country squads swept their way through the NCAA Midwest Regional meet and punched their tickets to the NCAA National Championships next week in Wisconsin.

The #2-ranked Cowboys took home their second straight regional title with a dominant, 25-point performance led by a 1-2 finish by Denis Kipngetich and Laban Kipkemboi. Kipngetich has now won back-to-back NCAA Midwest Regional titles and is the first Cowboy in program history to win a pair of regional titles individually.

For the Cowgirls, they picked up their third consecutive regional title. The women were led by Josphine Mwaura, who placed fourth overall. Behind her, Victoria Lagat (seventh), Sivan Auerbach (tenth) and Colleen Stegmann (13th ) all picked up All-Region honors for their performances.

🔼 Connect Four. For the second time in the past three seasons, the Cowgirls are 4-0.

Facing off against one of the nation’s best mid-majors on Saturday, the OSU women’s basketball team grinded out a hard-fought 64-62 win over Fairfield in front of a electric GIA crowd.

Leading the way was Stailee Heard, who logged her fourth career double-double on the day with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while also dishing out three assists and grabbing two steals.

🔼 Riding High. For the fourth time in the past five meets, the OSU equestrian squad picked up a W, this time rolling past #5 SMU, 13-5.

With the victory, the Cowgirls improved to 4-2 and move to 7-1 all-time at home against the Mustangs.

The Cowgirls earned three out of the four MOPs in the meet. This is the fifth time OSU has claimed at least three of the awards in a meet this season.
