🔼 One Down, Many To Come. The Steve Lutz era is off and running.
The Cowboys gave Coach Lutz an opening night victory, pulling away from Green Bay in the second half en route to a 89-76 victory on Monday night over OSU legend Doug Gottlieb and his new squad.
Bryce Thompson led a balanced scoring effort with 22 points, Abou Ousmane added 16 points and team-high eight rebounds, while Devo Davis and Chi Chi Avery tacked on 10 points apiece.
🔼 Opening Act. For the 18th time in the past 19 seasons, the OSU women’s hoops squad is 1-0.
On Monday, the Cowgirls opened their 2024-25 campaign by rolling past Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 96-43.
Montana transfer Macey Huard led four Cowgirls in double-digits with a career-high 31 points, while Anna Gret Asi and Micah Gray each added 16 and Tenin Magassa had 11.
🔼 Pro Pokin’. We’re over halfway through the NFL season and there’s plenty of former Pokes makin’ big plays for some of the league’s best squads.
Justice Hill piled up over 50+ total yards in the Ravens’ 41-10 domination of the Broncos, while Tyreek Hill had four catches for 80 yards in the Dolphins’ nailbiting loss at Buffalo.
Malcolm Rodriguez was sidelined for Detroit, who remained the NFC’s top team, while Mason Rudolph made his second straight start for the Titans, finishing with 240 yards passing and two TDs in a 20-17 victory over the Patriots.
The beauty is in the details.
