🎥 OSUMAX: TRADITION CONTINUES, PART II

The tradition of excellence on the mats at OSU goes back for decades and decades.

The newest faces of Cowboy Wrestling are hoping to add to those chapters and you’ll get to know some of those faces in Part II of TRADITION CONTINUES: A New Era for Cowboy Wrestling, which is now LIVE on OSUMax.

🔼 Bedlam Is Upon Us. It may divide sides of the table at an upcoming Christmas dinner. It may put you on the naughty or nice list. There’s truly nothing like Bedlam.

Two bouts of Bedlam are on tap this weekend.

First, the third-ranked Cowboys wrestling squad travels to Norman for a Friday night showdown as OSU looks to improve to a perfect 5-0 in duals this spring.

24 hours later, the Cowboy basketball program takes the court at the Paycom Center for this year’s Bedlam matchup with the Sooners. OSU has won three of their past four outings, including back-to-back road wins at Tulsa and Seton Hall. The Cowboys are 6-2 so far under Coach Lutz and rank seventh in the country in bench points per game.

🔼 A New General. The experience and resume is long for football coaching veteran Todd Grantham.

Now, he can add OSU Defensive Coordinator to that resume.

On Wednesday, head coach Mike Gundy announced the hiring as Grantham as OSU’s new defensive leader.

With experience as a defensive coordinator in the NFL, SEC and ACC, Grantham has served in that role for the Cleveland Browns (2005-07), Georgia (2010-13), Louisville (2014-16), Mississippi State (2017) and Florida (2018-21). He most recently served as the defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints in each of the past two seasons and was a defensive analyst for Nick Saban at Alabama in the year prior.
