🔼 Directing The Defense. Oklahoma State football announced the addition of Skyler Cassity as defensive coordinator. He worked in the same role under Coach Eric Morris at North Texas. Cassity will join the Cowboys after the Mean Green’s appearance in the New Mexico Bowl. His 2025 defense ranks among the top 25 in the FBS in fumbles recovered, turnovers gained, passing yards allowed, passes intercepted, and passing efficiency defense.

Rolando Surita and Raj Murti have been added to the staff as front office personnel. Surita will serve as chief of staff and Murti as the program’s general manager.

🔼 Cowboys Up. The fifth-ranked wrestling squad beat No. 17 West Virginia 34-3 yesterday. The Cowboys won nine of 10 bouts, with Landon Robideau, Alex Facundo, and Konner Doucet collecting bonus points. They’ll take on No. 6 Nebraska on the road on Sunday.

🔼 First Down. Cowboy basketball suffered its first loss of the season as OSU fell to Oklahoma 85-76 on Saturday. Kanye Clary led the Cowboys with 18 points, while Christian Coleman scored 17. Oklahoma State played the majority of the game without starting center Parsa Fallah, who played 10 minutes of the first half and spent the second with a brace around his lower back. The Cowboys will host Kansas City on Thursday.

🔼 Fell Short. The 23rd-ranked Cowgirl basketball team fell to No. 9 Oklahoma 92-70 on Sunday. Micah Gray led the Cowgirls with 22 points, while Jadyn Wooten added 15. They’ll host Tulsa today at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
