🔼 Second Helpings. Sometimes, it just takes a reset to get things going.

For the OSU men’s hoops squad, that reset came at halftime as the Cowboys blitzed visiting Tarleton State in the second half en route to a 66-61 home victory to improve to 7-3 on the year.

Marchelus Avery came off the bench to provide a huge spark for the Pokes, pouring in 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for his first double-double at OSU. Bryce Thompson (10 pts, 7 rebs) and Jamyron Keller (10 pts, 4 assists) also finished in double figures.

After shooting 24-percent from the field in the first half, the Cowboys got it rolling out of the break, shooting 57.1-percent after halftime en route to a 41-point period to seal the victory.

🔼 Turkey Hunting. A perfect 6-0 start to the season is on the line for the third-ranked Cowboys when the seventh-ranked Hokies of Virginia Tech come to Stillwater for a Thursday night showdown at GIA.

OSU has three wins over ranked opponents so far this season and is looking for its first over a top-10 opponent when the Cowboys take the mat at 7 pm tonight.

Through the first five duals of the season, OSU has piled up 174 points, the second highest through its first five duals of a season in the past 27 years.

🎥 OSUMAX: A TRUE COWBOY

Brennan Presley is the ultimate Oklahoma State Cowboy living each day
by the Cowboy Code. Presley gave his all on and off the field and will
leave his mark on the program as one of the top receivers in school history.

He earned the school record in receptions for a career (315), 6th in
receiving yards (3,315) and 7th in touchdown receptions (23). Presley is
also one of only four players in school history with over 5,000 all-purpose yards
in a career joining Terry Miller, Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders.

🤔 COWBOY TRIVIA
