Hoyt Returns as Cowgirls Pick Up 81-75 Thriller Over Iowa State In Big 12 Opener

🔼 Happy Hoopin’ Holidays. While the next few days will be filled with opening gifts, the Cowgirls didn’t need any gifts to spread holiday cheer this past weekend.
Micah Gray (24 pts) and Anna Gret Asi (21 pts) both had 20+ point performances as OSU picked up a 81-75 thriller over Iowa State on Saturday in the Big 12 opener.
With the victory, the Cowgirls improve to 11-1 on the year.
🔼 The Closer. Need someone to close things out? Just give it to Chuba.
The former OSU star’s magical NFL season continued on Sunday with his second-best career total in rushing yards (152) and two more TDs, including the game-winner in OT to help the Panthers past Arizona, 36-30.
Hubbard now has four 100+ yard performances and sits at 1,195 yards for the season.
🔼 Up, Up In The Sky. Santa isn’t the only who’s spending time in the sky this week.
Abou Ousmane led a dominant force in the paint for the OSU men’s basketball team who stayed perfect at home with a 86-74 victory over Oral Roberts.
Ousmane scored a season-best 19 points and helped the Cowboys win the rebounding battle 46-20 and 42-22 in the paint.
Bryce Thompson scored 14 points and Jamyron Keller and Khalil Brantley added 10 each for OSU
🔼 Head Of The Class. It was quite a fall for the OSU women’s soccer program, making yet another trip to the NCAA Tournament.
One of their leaders Xcaret Pineda succeeded not only on the pitch, but also in the classroom as the junior was named a 2024 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American late last week.
Pineda is the 10th different OSU student-athlete to earn Scholar All-America honors from the United Soccer Coaches, and her selection marks the 13th in program history. OSU Soccer now counts 26 Academic All-America honors in its history.

🎥 OSUMAX: A TRUE COWBOY
Brennan Presley is the ultimate Oklahoma State Cowboy living each day
by the Cowboy Code. Presley gave his all on and off the field and will
leave his mark on the program as one of the top receivers in school history.
He earned the school record in receptions for a career (315), 6th in
receiving yards (3,315) and 7th in touchdown receptions (23). Presley is
also one of only four players in school history with over 5,000 all-purpose yards
in a career joining Terry Miller, Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders.
