Pokes Head Into Break With Perfect Home Record At GIA

Happy Holidays Cowboys and Cowgirls. As we head into holiday break, it appears the Pokes have taken a lesson from Kevin McCallister in Home Alone.

🔼 House Defended. Unlike McCallister, the Pokes haven’t used any booby traps or swinging paint cans at GIA.

Three different OSU squads have stepped inside GIA to protect their home turf and they’ve done so at a perfect level this athletic calendar.

In 2024-25, the Pokes are a perfect 18-0 inside the friendly confines with women’s hoops (10-0), men’s hoops (5-0) and wrestling (3-0) all unblemished in front of the Stillwater faithful.

🔼 Battlin’ Brayden. While he may be redshirting this year for OSU, Brayden Thompson is still getting his work in on the mat.

This past weekend, the Frankfort, Ill. native hit the mats at the Reno Tournament of Champions and came home with the title at 184 pounds. Thompson is preparing and working towards rejoining the lineup next season for the Pokes.

🔼 A December To Remember. It’s been quite a month for former OSU star Cade Cunningham.

With two triple-doubles under his belt this month, Cade is averaging 24.8 points and 11.4 assists in December. He currently ranks second in the entire NBA with 9.7 assists per game, while also ranking in the top-20 in the league in scoring (23.9 ppg)

Cunningham and three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic are the only two players in the league to rank in the top-five in assists and top-20 in scoring.

as well as the newcomers to get the full perspective on the focus and
goal of the Pokes for this season.

TRADITION CONTINUES: A New Era for Cowboy Wrestling

🎥 OSUMAX: A TRUE COWBOY

Brennan Presley is the ultimate Oklahoma State Cowboy living each day
by the Cowboy Code. Presley gave his all on and off the field and will
leave his mark on the program as one of the top receivers in school history.

He earned the school record in receptions for a career (315), 6th in
receiving yards (3,315) and 7th in touchdown receptions (23). Presley is
also one of only four players in school history with over 5,000 all-purpose yards
in a career joining Terry Miller, Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders.
