🎥 OSUMAX: TRADITION CONTINUES, PART II

The tradition of excellence on the mats at OSU goes back for decades and decades.

The newest faces of Cowboy Wrestling are hoping to add to those chapters and you’ll get to know some of those faces in Part II of TRADITION CONTINUES: A New Era for Cowboy Wrestling, which is now LIVE on OSUMax.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Vegas Baby. 14 ranked teams. Seven top-10 teams.

That is what is ahead for the third-ranked OSU wrestling squads as they head to compete in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, beginning this morning at 11 a.m.

Entering this weekend, the Cowboys are a perfect 4-0, claiming 33 of 40 bouts through the first four duals.

🔼 Fearsome Foursome. It’s that time of year when our stockings are about to be stuffed.

For a quartet of Cowgirls, they might have a few extra pieces in their stockings.

Xcaret Pineda, Alex Morris, Mollie Breiner and Laudan Wilson all were recognized with spots on the All-Midwest Region teams.

🔼 Power Pair. When it comes to OSU cross country, there’s been some legendary former Cowboys and Cowgirls to come through the programs.

When you etch your name among the best of the best in that group, it’s pretty special. Brian Musau and Sivan Auerbach did just that this week. Musau was named the Big 12 Men’s Runner of the Year, while Auerbach was named the Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Musau became the first Cowboy to ever win two Big 12 Runner of the Year awards and is just the third man in the history of the award to win it in back-to-back years.

After earning a second consecutive Elite 90 Award for women’s cross country, Auerbach became the fourth Cowgirl ever to earn the distinction.

🔼 Six Piece Of Pokes. The OSU football squad put one last bow on the 2024 season as six Cowboys were honored by the Big 12 this week.

Brennan Presley, Korie Black, Ollie Gordon II, Wes Pahl, Joe Michalski and Jake Springfield all earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades.
