🔼  Smooth Sailing. Cowgirl basketball cruised past Iowa State 88-77 last night. Achol Akot and Stailee Heard recorded double-doubles to lead the Cowgirls. Akot tied her career high with 25 points, while Heard scored 22.

🔼 Party At Our Place. The 16th-ranked softball team is finally home! The Cowgirls will host the OSU/Tulsa Invitational today through Sunday. They'll take on No. 9 Nebraska tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

🔼 Turn Back The Clock The annual Cowboy Football Reunion will honor the 1976 Tangerine Bowl team in September, recognizing them for their historic season. The team, led by Heisman Trophy finalist Terry Miller, accomplished a nine-win season, a Big Eight Conference championship, and a victory over BYU in the Tangerine Bowl. The 1976 squad set records with six wins against ranked opponents and numerous individual accolades.

🔼 Remembering A Legend. Oklahoma State mourns the loss of former wrestler Bobby Douglas, a trailblazer in the sport. Douglas was the first black American to wrestle in the Olympics, captain the Olympic team, and coach wrestling at a major university. He achieved national and international acclaim, winning multiple titles and medals, and later became a successful coach and mentor.

🔼 Cornhusker State Awaits. No. 24 Cowboy tennis takes a road trip to Nebraska. They'll play Omaha tonight at 6 p.m. before taking on Nebraska tomorrow at 6 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Cornhuskers’ tennis facility.
