🔼 Jordan Year. OSU women’s hoops is in its 53rd year of existence this season.

On Wednesday night at GIA, not only did the Cowgirls celebrate their final home game of the season, but accomplished something for only the sixth time in program history.

OSU used a balanced offensive attack and a strong defensive effort to take down visiting Cincinnati, 74-64, en route to their 23rd victory of the season and improve to 13-4 in league play.

It marked the 17th home win of the season for the Cowgirls, setting a new program record.

Playing in her final game at GIA, Anna Gret Asi led the way with 15 point, while Micah Gray scored 14 points, Stailee Heard and Tenin Magassa 12 each, and Alexia Smith 10 for OSU.

🔼 Throwin’ Goose Eggs. With the price of eggs continuing to rise, the OSU baseball boys decided to take things into their own hands and produced their goose eggs for themselves on Wednesday night.

Seven different Cowboy hurlers combined to scatter six hits and allow no runs for a 6-0 victory at Abilene Christian for its third straight win.

Ryan Ure picked up the win on the mound as the southpaw worked three shutout innings, allowing three hits and striking out three.

Donovan LaSalle was the offensive star, going 2-for-3 on the night, including his second HR of the season.
