Looking to reach a sixth straight WCWS, the fourth-ranked OSU softball team opens its 2025 season this morning at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, kicking the action off against the 12th-ranked Seminoles of Florida State.

First pitch is set for 10 a.m.

🔼 Freaky Fast Fouad. Hopefully the awards wall at Fouad Messaoudi has a little more room left.

The OSU distance star earned another piece for the wall as he was named Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Men’s Athlete of the Week on Wednesday.

Messaoudi blistered the track at the Razorback Invitational this past weekend, becoming the eighth-fastest man in NCAA History in the Mile with his time of 3:52.66. In the race, he also broke the school record as he upended an impressive field that included several All-Americans and multiple national champions.

The two-time NCAA champion earned his second career Big 12 Athlete of the Week honor and is the fifth Cowboy in program history to receive the award.

Earlier this week, OSU unveiled its full 2025 football slate, a schedule that includes seven game days at BPS!

Mark your calendars now because America's Greatest Homecoming takes place the week of October 18 against Cincinnati.

The road schedule includes three long trips to Oregon, Arizona and UCF, as well as two closer to home at Texas Tech and Kansas.
