🔼 Nice Little WINsday. The 13th-ranked OSU softball squad used two long balls from Karli Godwin and clutch pitching from Katie Kutz to roll to a 10-2 victory over North Texas on Wednesday night.

The victory is the 11th straight for the Cowgirls who now sit at 15-4 on the year.

Kutz picked up the win for the Cowgirls and improved to 7-1, pitching for five innings with a career-high seven strikeouts and two hits allowed.

Offensive standouts for Oklahoma State included Godwin (3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs), Rosie Davis (1-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs) and Tia Warsop (1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.)

Up next? A three-game showdown with #16 Texas Tech in Lubbock this weekend.

🔼 STATEment. Bragging rights are always touch to grab.

That was again the case on Wednesday when the OSU men’s tennis team was locked in a back-and-forth road battle with Tulsa.

The Cowboys pulled out a thriller, 4-3, thanks to a deciding third set on court five, where Ian Bracks, the Tulsa native, defeated Reiya Komagata, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.

🔼 Tickets Punched. Who doesn’t love a trip to the beach in March?

Six Pokes will be making a business trip to Virginia Beach next weekend as OSU earned six national qualifiers for the 2025 NCAA Track & Field Championships, which were unveiled on Wednesday.

On the men's side, the 14th-ranked Cowboys are well represented with five athletes competing across six events. Fouad Messaoudi (Mile) and Brian Musau (5,000 Meters) each enter the NCAA Championships ranked fourth in their respective events. Laban Kipkemboi is ranked ninth in the Mile, with Denis Kipngetich (11th, 5, 000 Meters) and Musau (14th, 3,000 Meters) rounding out the individual entries for the Cowboys.

The men's Distance Medley Relay squad of Musau, Jordon Smith, Mehdi Yanouri and Ryan Schoppe are also ranked third in the event. OSU has won each of the past two NCAA titles in the DMR, with Schoppe anchoring both times.

For the Cowgirls, Kaylie Politza qualified for her first NCAA Championships in the 800 Meters. She is the tenth Cowgirl to qualify for the national championships in the 800 Meters since Director of Track & Field Coach Smith took over the women's program in 2009.
