Plenty of new faces took to the field at BPS for the first time this past Saturday
at the annual OSU Orange-White game at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The Orange squad took home a 14-10 victory and fans enjoyed plenty of pictures
and conversations with the Cowboys on the field after the game.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Happiest Place On Earth. The 21st-ranked OSU softball team had a grand old time on their trip to Florida and they didn’t even have to go to Disney World.
After taking a 7-0 victory in game one, the Cowgirls pulled out a hard-fought 4-3 win in the series finale to take the Big 12 series and improve to 27-15 on the year.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME FOUAD?! 🤯
Fouad Messaoudi and Ryan Schoppe go 1-2 to secure a HUGE 19 points for the Cowboys!

🔼 Runnin’ Wild. In a bit of a unique, but old school meet, the Pokes ran wild at the inaugural Oregon Team Invitational, facing off against some of the best competition from around the country.
Both the Cowgirls and Cowboys grabbed a third-place finish at the event as OSU piled up school records, top national times and plenty of PRs.
The highlight of the weekend came in the men's 5,000 Meters, where Fouad Messaoudi and Ryan Schoppe turned in one a dominant distance performance. Messaoudi claimed the individual title with a blazing 13:28.17, a mark that stands as the 15th-fastest time in the NCAA this year, sixth in program history and a staggering 27-second improvement on his previous personal best.

🔼 BIG Addition. Coach Lutz and his staff added yet another big body for next year’s OSU men’s hoops roster.
On Saturday, the Cowboys announced the signing of 6-9, 260-pound forward Parsa Fallah, a transfer from Oregon State.
In his lone season with the Beavers, Fallah averaged 13.2 points and 4.0 rebounds this past season, earning second team All-West Coast Conference honors. He led the league and ranked 14th nationally in field goal percentage, knocking down just under 60 percent of his attempts.
A former member of the Iranian junior national team, Fallah played his first two collegiate seasons at Southern Utah, averaging 13.2 points and 6.0 rebounds as a sophomore while pacing the WAC in field goal accuracy (.570).
🎙️ LOOKING AHEAD
It’s Championship Week for the OSU men’s golf team.
Joining the Orange Power Pod to talk about the season so far and what lies ahead is head coach Alan Bratton, who is now in his 14th season with the Cowboys.
