🔼 Sweep Dreams. Oklahoma State baseball swept Texas Tech on the road! The Cowboys started the weekend strong with a 16-6 run-rule win on Friday, powered by Aidan Meola’s six RBI day. They clinched the series in comeback fashion on Saturday, getting the 9-8 win. The sweep was completed with an 11-2 win on Sunday afternoon as the Cowboys mashed four home runs.

🔼  Sweep Victory. Cowgirl softball also had a sweeping weekend on the road! A four-run seventh inning rally lifted the 18th-ranked Cowgirls over Baylor, winning 4-2 on Friday. Oklahoma State run-ruled the Bears 9-1 on Saturday, led by Amanda Hasler’s grand slam. The sweep was completed by an 8-1 win on Sunday.

🔼 New Digs. Oklahoma State will name its new wrestling facility after John Smith, a six-time world champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and legendary coach. Smith’s illustrious career includes numerous international and collegiate accolades, and he coached OSU to five NCAA team championships and 33 individual titles over 33 years. His impact on the sport is profound, with a remarkable coaching record and a legacy of producing Olympic medalists and NCAA champions.

🔼 Smashing Records. Oklahoma State’s track and field teams had a successful weekend at three meets. The Cowgirls excelled at the Drake Relays, setting a new record in the women’s 4x800 Meter Relay and placing second in the 4x1600 Meter Relay. Additionally, OSU athletes achieved top finishes at the John McDonnell Invitational and the OU O Ring Alumni Open.
