🔼 Smart Cookies. Success breeds success.

Coming off a huge year on the mats for the OSU wrestling program, that success transferred over to the classroom as the Cowboys tied a program record with six athletes earning NCAA Scholar All-American accolades for the fourth straight season.

The group included national champions Dean Hamiti Jr. and Wyatt Hendrickson, as well as Cameron Amine, Caleb Fish, Dustin Plott and Luke Surber.

Plott and Surber became the sixth and seventh Cowboys to earn four Scholar All-American selections since it began in 1991. Similarly, Amine became a five-time recipient between his time at Michigan and Oklahoma State, and Fish's recognition was the fourth of his career after three at Michigan State. Receiving his third career honor was Hamiti, who earned it in 2022 and 2023 while at Wisconsin, while Hendrickson's selection was his second in a row.

Those named Scholar All-Americans met at least one of the following criteria: NCAA All-American with a 3.00 GPA, NCAA Championship qualifier with a 3.2 GPA, conference tournament qualifier with a 3.5 GPA or compiled 15 matches with a 60%-win record and 3.5 GPA.

🔼 Desert Dub. The 18th-ranked Cowgirls kicked off their week in the desert with a W.

In a non-conference midweek matchup between two Big 12 programs, OSU used a stellar pitching performance by Ruby Meylan to roll to a 5-0 victory over Arizona State on Wednesday night.

Meylan improved to 14-3 on the year, tossing a completed game shutout with three strikeouts and only four hits allowed. OSU has now allowed just three runs in the past three games.

Offensively, Megan Bloodworth led the way with two hits, including a solo HR to open the scoring in the third. Audrey Schneidmiller (1-for-1, RBI) and Tallen Edwards (2-for-3, run scored) both had solid nights at the plate as well.

🔼 Raising The Bar. She may have only been a Cowgirl since the fall, but Emma Robbins is already making quite an impact on the OSU track & field program.

Coming off a dominant and record-setting performance this past weekend, the Anaheim, Calif. native was named the Big 12 Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Co-Athlete of the Week.

She took care of business at the historic Texas Relays last weekend, shattering the school record by over five meters and setting the No. 1 mark in the NCAA this season at 69.09 meters. She won the meet by nearly six meters overall, defeating Big 12 Weight Throw champion Shelby Frank of Texas Tech.

The senior from Anaheim, Calif., is the fifth Cowgirl in program history and third in the past three years to win the award outdoors.

🔼 Here To Stay. Coming off a historic season in 2024-25, OSU announced a contract extension for women’s hoops head coach Jacie Hoyt on Wednesday afternoon.

Included in the historic year was 25 wins, the third highest single season total in program history, along with reaching #17 in the national polls, the highest ranking in nearly a decade for the Cowgirls.
