🎥 OSUMAX: RELIVING THE TITLE

Last week was a historic one for the OSU men’s golf team as it brought home
the 12th Big 12 Championship in program history.

OSUMax was along for the ride and sat down with two-time Big 12
Individual Champion Preston Stout and head coach Alan Bratton
after the title-clinching performance.

🔼 Plotting The Course. With its victory at last week’s Big 12 Championship, the OSU men’s golf team punched yet another ticket to the NCAA Regionals.

Today, they learn their destination with the NCAA Selection Show set to unveil the full breakdown at 12 pm on The Golf Channel.

Thirteen teams and 10 individuals (not on those teams) will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals (not on those teams). The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals.

🔼 Power Pair. While some of their classmates may be starting to make some summer plans, a pair of Cowboys just booked their own little summer trip.

But their trip is more of a business trip for Preston Stout and Ethan Fang of the OSU men’s golf team.

On Tuesday evening, the duo was named to the United States Palmer Cup Squad.

The matches between the United States and International squads will be played June 5-7 at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

The Arnold Palmer Cup was co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and began at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando, Fla., in 1997. The event is a Ryder Cup-style tournament featuring the top men's and women's university/college golfers matching the United States against a team of International players.

🔼 And Another One. Another Cowboy joined the stable this week for the OSU men’s hoops program.

On Monday, Coach Lutz and staff announced the signing of 6-foot-8 guard Christian Coleman.

In two seasons at UAB, Coleman helped lead the Blazers to the 2024 NCAA tournament and the 2025 NIT quarterfinals, averaging 11.6 points in 27.6 minutes this season. He tallied seven double-figure rebounding games and five 20-point performances while ranking among the American Athletic Conference leaders in rebounds (8th, 7.1), offensive boards (2nd, 3.14), double-doubles (7th, 6) and field-goal percentage (8th, .533).

The Winnsboro, Louisiana natives' unique journey to OSU and the Big 12 began with a seven-inch growth spurt after high school. He played his freshman season at NAIA LSU Alexandria and his sophomore year at South Plains junior college before landing at UAB.

🎥 A COWBOY HOMECOMING

Former Oklahoma State Basketball Legend Tony Allen was the guest
of honor at the 2025 Posse Auction inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
