🔼 Bucket Filler. One of the most prolific scorers in the transfer portal is heading to Stillwater.
On Monday, Coach Lutz and staff announced the signing of 6-5 scoring guard, Anthony Roy from Green Bay.
The Oakland, Calif. native was the nation's leading scorer last season at Green Bay before suffering a season-ending foot injury in early December. In 11 games he averaged 25.7 points while knocking down 48 threes (4.4 per game) on 43.2% accuracy.
In 2023-24, Roy helped lead Langston University – an NAIA school located 20 miles southwest of Stillwater – to a national runner-up finish while earning first team All-American status.

🔼 Double Trouble. When your pitching staff combines to allow just four earned runs in a three-game sweep of a top-25 squad, there’s going to be some awards coming their way.
On Monday, two of the leaders of that staff brought a pair of Big 12 accolades with Harrison Bodendorf named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week and Sean Youngerman tabbed as the Big 12 Newcomer of the week.
The duo combined to punch out 23 Kansas State hitters in a 15 innings of work, allowing a combined one earned run in that stretch.

🔼 Old Dog, Same Tricks. Now in his 12th MLB season, former OSU hurler Andrew Heaney is up to his same old tricks.
Playing with his sixth MLB organization, the southpaw is dealing in the early part of 2025, including a dominant seven-inning, one run, 10 strikeout performance against the vaunted Yankees lineup this past weekend.
The 10 K performance marked the 21st time in his career that he racked up 10+ strikeouts in a start.
🎥 OSUMAX: DEALIN’ IT
The California kid was dealin’ this weekend for the Cowboys.
Right handed hurler Sean Youngerman put together a special
Sunday performance to deliver the series victory over #22 Kansas State.
Youngerman brings some experience to the pitching staff with
27 career appearances in his previous two seasons at Westmont College.
Learn more about Youngerman on and off the diamond in this My Time feature.
