🔼 Forever A Cowboy. On Monday, longtime Cowboy Rob Walton announced that he will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2025 season
A 2018 inductee into the Cowboy Baseball Hall of Fame, Walton was a standout pitcher for OSU in his playing days. He went 20-3 in 54 career appearances and helped the Cowboys to College World Series trips in each of his four seasons.
He went on to play in the Baltimore Orioles organization and work with the Cleveland Indians before returning to the college game as an assistant coach at Oral Roberts from 1999-2003. He was elevated to head coach in 2004, launching a period of great success for ORU.
Following the 2012 season, Walton surprised the baseball world when he chose to leave his successful position as ORU head coach to join Holliday's OSU staff as pitching coach.

In the 12-plus seasons since, the Cowboys won five Big 12 championships, earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament every year, advanced to three Super Regionals and returned to the College World Series.

🔼 The Mack Attack. After solidifying her spot in the league last season, OSU legend Natasha Mack is back and ready for more.
Mack spent all training camp with the Phoenix Mercury and is on the active roster as the squad opened up the 2025 season this past weekend.
The former Cowgirl is currently battling a back injury, but is hoping to make her season debut soon.
Mack was a second round draft pick by the Chicago Sky in 2021 and played four games that season before going overseas and returning last season with Phoenix, where she played in 40 games, averaging over 15 minutes a night.

🔼 Welcome Home. After a historic 2025 season for the OSU wrestling program, the Cowboys have a new voice on their staff as Coach Taylor announced the addition of former OSU standout Kevin Ward to the coaching staff.
Most recently working at Army West Point for the past 11 years, Ward has served as a collegiate head coach since the 2010-11 season. He was part of the Cowboy wrestling team from 2001-2006, winning a Big 12 title at 157 pounds and earning recognition on the NWCA Scholar All-America team three times. He also served as an OSU graduate assistant the year following his final season of competition.
Ward's coaching accolades include being named the 2014 NCAA Div. II Coach of the Year, the 2019 EIWA Coach of the Year and a finalist for the 2019 NWCA National Coach of the Year.
