Mission Complete.

The OSU men’s golf team finished what they started on Wednesday evening,
rollingto a 3-1 victory over Virginia to bring home the program’s
12th national championship.

The title was OSU's second under head coach Alan Bratton, who guided
the Cowboys to a national championship in 2018 in Stillwater. Bratton
was also victorious as a player (1995) and assistant coach (2006).

Additionally, the victory was OSU's second in four championship match
appearances since the implementation of the current format in 2009.

The second-ranked Cowboys ended the season on a five-tournament
winning streak and won seven events overall on the year.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Eugene Or Bust. One day down, two tickets punched.

The OSU track & field squad opened up action at the NCAA West Preliminary Round on Wednesday with two Cowboys punching their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene next month.

Blair Anderson kicked off action in Texas with an incredible performance in the Long Jump, launching himself to a huge personal-best of 7.93 meters to finish third overall and punch his ticket to nationals. The jump not only earned him a spot in Eugene but also marked the second-best mark in program history behind Cowboy Olympian Jacob Fincham-Dukes.

On the track, Denis Kipngetich placed fourth in the 10,000 Meters with a time of 28:15.51 to advance to the NCAA Championships for the second straight year, where he placed third last season.

Friday's action in College Station kicks off with three Cowgirls in the Hammer Throw starting at 10 a.m. CT and wrapping up with the 10,000 Meter semifinal at 9:10 p.m.

🔼 Golden Girl. When you’re in a program like OSU softball, it takes someone special to be the first to accomplish a feat.

Well, Tallen Edwards is exactly that.

On the year, the Moore, Okla., native totaled 112 assists and 33 putouts with only four errors and a .973 fielding percentage. She also had a hand in helping turn nine of OSU's 24 double plays.

Edwards led the team and ranked inside the top 15 nationally in both defensive runs saved (14th, 13.65) and defensive wins above replacement (14th, 1.15).

🔼 Smart Cookies. The success of the OSU softball program in 2025 was not limited to the diamond.

Earlier this week, five Cowgirls were named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District team with Rosie Davis, Karli Godwin, Amanda Hasler, Katie Kutz and Tia Warsop all being honored.

The group of five Cowgirls ties a program record with the Cowgirls of 2023 for the most selections to the CSC Academic All-District team.

The 2025 Academic All-District teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

🎥 OSUMAX: PUNCHING THEIR TICKET

The Cowboys earned the three seed in the Athens Regional for the 2025
NCAA Baseball Tournament. It is the 12th straight bid under Josh Holliday
and the 50th in school history.
