🔼 We Are The Champions. Oklahoma State baseball clinched a share of the Big 12 Conference regular season championship with an 11-1 drubbing of Oklahoma over the weekend at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

With the win, the 10th-ranked Cowboys improved to 37-16 and finished Big 12 play with a 15-9 mark. OSU shares the conference championship with Texas and West Virginia.

OSU's championship marks the 34th conference title in program history. It is the Cowboys' second-ever regular season crown and fifth overall in the Big 12; they were also regular season champions in 2014 and won conference tournament trophies in 2004, 2017 and 2019.

OSU will be the No. 2 seed at next week's Big 12 Baseball Championship in Arlington, Texas, and the Pokes will face Oklahoma in their opening-round game later this week.

🔼 Cardiac Cowgirls. A dramatic four-run seventh inning propelled the No. 6 national seed Oklahoma State softball team to a 5-2 comeback victory over Nebraska yesterday at Cowgirl Stadium to reach their fourth straight NCAA Regional.

With the win, OSU improved to 44-14, while Nebraska fell to 36-22. As the No. 6 national seed, Oklahoma State will host the NCAA Super Regional in Stillwater next weekend, against Oregon, who advanced from the Fayetteville Regional. Game times and TV designations are set to be announced when available.

Oklahoma State extended its NCAA Regional winning streak to 12 games with the win today, all of which have happened at the NCAA Stillwater Regional.

🔼 Always Adding. Oklahoma State's women's tennis team has added a junior transfer for the 2023-24 season with the signing of Ange Oby Kajuru.

The Tokyo native is no stranger to the Big 12 after spending the previous two seasons with the Iowa State Cyclones. And he’s put together an impressive resume through two complete seasons of collegiate action—posting a career 40-13 record in singles competition and a 43-14 record in doubles. She also played a pivotal role in Iowa State's run to the NCAA Quarterfinals last season.

🔼 Prelim Pokes. Oklahoma State outdoor track & field has qualified 34 athletes to the West Preliminary Round in Sacramento, Calif., next week. The top 48 athletes in each event qualify for regionals with the top 12 individuals and relays from each of the two regions advancing to the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.

The Cowgirls qualified 17 individuals and the 4x400 Meter Relay squad with the Cowboys adding 15 individuals in addition to the 4x400 Relay. Along with the 34 regional qualifiers, Bailey Golden has already qualified for nationals in the Heptathlon as one of the top 24 scoring athletes in the event this season.

  • On the women's side, Gabija Galvydyte (800 Meters), Madi Surber (800 Meters), Kaylie Politza (800 Meters), Billah Jepkirui (1,500 Meters), Sivan Auerbach (1,500 Meters), Maddie Salek (1,500 Meters), Heidi Demeo (1,500 Meters), Taylor Roe (5,000 Meters), Molly Born (10,000 Meters), Michaela Travers (400 Meter Hurdles), Payton Hinkle (3,000 Meter Steeplechase), Saara Hakanen (High Jump), India Morgan (Long Jump) and Rachel Neaves (Hammer Throw) will all be competing in Sacramento with a national championship berth on the line.

  • Hannah Bradford is the only Cowgirl doubling in two events as she qualified in both the Discus and Hammer Throws. Golden also qualified individually in the Long Jump in addition to her NCAA berth in the Heptathlon.

  • For the Cowboys, DeJuana McArthur (400 Meters), Mehdi Yanouri (800 Meters), Hafez Mahadi (800 Meters), Fouad Messaoudi (1,500 Meters), Juan Diego Castro (1,500 Meters), Alex Stitt (1,500 Meters), Ryan Schoppe (1,500 Meters), Isaiah Priddey (1,500 Meters), Isai Rodriguez (10,000 Meters), Rory Leonard (10,000 Meters), Alex Maier (10,000 Meters), Victor Shitsama (3,000 Meter Steeplechase), Jonas Price (3,000 Meter Steeplechase) and Blair Anderson (Long Jump) all qualified in the respective events.

🔼 Keep It Movin’. Twentieth-seeded Oklahoma State women's golf secured its spot inside the 54-hole, 15-team cut with a 12-over 300 in the third round at the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club this weekend.

With the result, the Cowgirls moved their weekend total to 7-over and ended the day in 11th. On Monday, Oklahoma State will look to make up its 2-stroke deficit to Arizona and Texas A&M, who are currently tied for seventh, to advance to match play for the second time in program history.

Having missed the 54-hole cut last season, this weekend marked Oklahoma State's first time advancing to Monday since 2021, when they went on to finish as the runner-up nationally.

Oklahoma State is scheduled to tee off for the fourth round this afternoon at 12:11pm CT alongside Georgia and New Mexico.
