In her sole season in Stillwater, Rachel Becker, a graduate transfer second baseman, left an indelible mark on the Big 12. Having previously garnered numerous accolades as a shortstop at Purdue, Becker made a seamless transition to Oklahoma State, showcasing her exceptional skills at second base and earning well-deserved recognition as a first-team All-Big 12 player.
Notably, she achieved a remarkable streak of reaching base in 49 consecutive games, surpassing the OSU record by a single game.

🔼 Stillwater Sierra. Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has added Sierra Bone to its staff as its director of branding and player influence it was announced by Cowgirl head coach Jacie Hoyt.
The newly formed position is among the first of its kind in the country. In her current capacity, Bone will provide direction to the program's student-athletes in regard to their brand development while working directly with OSU's NIL staff to enhance branding opportunities for them as well.
Most recently, Bone worked as a graduate assistant at Arizona where she received a master's degree in educational leadership in 2022. Her time in Tucson was highlighted by the Wildcats' run to the NCAA title game in 2021.
During her career, Bone received academic all-conference honors on three occasions, earning the distinction in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
🔼 Orange Looks Good On You. Per usual, Viktor Hovland repped the Cowboys with pride. In PGA competition this past weekend, Hovland (T2) became the only player to finish the 2023 PGA Championship with four rounds at even-par or better. He never backed down and never will.
🔼 Everything Must Come To An End. Oklahoma State women's golf's season ended on Monday after the team finished tied for 11th at the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club, narrowly missing the top-8 cut by four strokes.
Battling harsh temperatures, the Cowgirls combined to shoot a 5-over 293, seven strokes improved from the previous day, to move their weekend total to 12-over. Pepperdine claimed the last advancing spot at 8-over, while New Mexico and Arizona finished a single stroke ahead of OSU at 11-over. SMU matched Oklahoma State at 12-over in 11th.
Oklahoma State finishes the season champions of two tournaments, including sweeping both the team and individual titles at the Big 12 Championship. The Cowgirls are one of just 10 teams in the country to have reached the NCAA Championship in each of the past three seasons and have done so in every completed season under head coach Greg Robertson.

A decade of dominance. A special look back at the Gary Ward era of Oklahoma State Cowboy Baseball, and the "Decade of Dominance" for the Cowboys in the 1980's. Gary Ward was Oklahoma State's head baseball coach from 1978 through 1996 and guided the Cowboys to an unprecedented 16 straight conference titles, 17 NCAA regional appearances and 10 trips to the College World Series. Seven of OSU's World Series appearances (1981-87) were in consecutive years, an NCAA record.
The Cowboys also appeared in the NCAA championship game three times under Ward. He compiled a record of 953-313-1 in 19 seasons in Stillwater, before retiring prior to the 1997 campaign. Ward's career record of 1,022-361-1 (.739) is 13th best all-time in win percentage and 24th in the NCAA record books in wins.
