🔼 Legacy Of Bob Simmons. Former Oklahoma State head football coach Bob Simmons passed away this week. He was the first African American head coach in Big Eight Conference history. During his six seasons as a Cowboy, he led the Pokes to a 1997 Alamo Bowl, ending a nine-season bowl drought, and snapped Oklahoma State’s Bedlam streak of 19 seasons without a win over Oklahoma. Coach Simmons recruited and coached several All-Americans and future NFL players, leaving a lasting impact on the program.

🔼 Award Season. Three Cowboy baseball players earned ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region honors! Aidan Meola and Kollin Richie earned first-team honors, while Ethan Lund landed on the Second Team.

🔼 Double Trouble. Cowboy golfers Preston Stout and Ethan Fang were named Golfweek All-Americans! Stout earned first-team honors, while Fang was named honorable mention. Both Cowboys are playing in the U.S. Open on June 18.

🔼 All-American Kid. Cowgirl golfer Marta Silchenko was named to the Golfweek All-American Second Team! She posted a 70.96 stroke average and helped Oklahoma State to match play at the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2021.
