🔼 The Champ Lives Here. A legacy performance by Brian Musau helped the OSU men’s track & field squad to its best NCAA Championship performance since 1984.
Musau put another chapter in his historic career at OSU with his second career 5,000m national title on Friday night.
After winning the 5,000 Meter title indoors, Musau doubled down on his dominance outdoors, clocking 13:20.59 in a masterclass of tactics and closing speed. After running a staggering 4:01 over his final 1600 meters, Musau held the lead entering the bell lap and found yet another gear to fend off a late challenge from Villanova's Marco Langon.
The victory marks his second NCAA title of the year and second straight first team All-America finish in the 5K after placing fourth last season.
Fouad Messaoudi joined him on the podium with a personal-best time of 13:25.48, good for eighth place and first team All-America honors.
The Cowboys' 19 points and 11th place finish were each the highest for the program since 1984, when Cowboy legend Joe Dial lead the way with his national title in the Pole Vault.

🔼 Closing In. The #GolfSchool continues its torrid summer on the links this past weekend.
Former Pokes Viktor Hovland and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen both charged towards the top of the leaderboard at the 2025 US Open.
Hovland earned his fifth top-10 finish at a major in the past three years, finishing third overall 2-over for the tournament, while Neergaard-Petersen was impressive with a 6-over, good for 12th on the leaderboard.

🔼 Truly Captain America. The year of Wyatt Hendrickson continues as Captain America solidified that nickname for good.
Hendrickson took the best-of-three series over Trent Hillger at Final X at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on Saturday.
With the victory, Hendrickson cemented his spot on Team USA for World Championships in September.
🎥 OSUMAX: MEDIA MINUTES
Summer workouts are ramped up into high gear and the OSU
men’s basketball are rebuilt for the 2025-26 season.
Last week, Coach Lutz stepped behind the mics to talk about
those workouts, a new look roster, the future and much more.
