⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 4️⃣5️⃣ DAYS

45 days away from kickoff..

4️⃣5️⃣ days out gives us the perfect reason to honor the 1956 AFCA National Champions, the first-ever undefeated season in OSU football history.

The Aggies of 1945 won by an average of 23.2 points and still hold numerous school records that last to this day, including fewest points allowed, lowest average points allowed, fewest first downs allowed, fewest rushing yards allowed and fewest yards allowed per game.

The 1945 squad also ranks in the top 10 in several more offensive and defensive categories, all of which is remarkable considering that season was played 70 years ago.

Bob Fenimore finished third in the voting for the Heisman Trophy and led the nation in both rushing and total offense and also ranked in the top 15 nationally in rushing yards, passing yards, scoring and punting.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Royal Champion. Winning at Wimbledon is a legendary feat.

Well, you can add that legendary feat to the resume of former OSU star Julian Cash, as he partnered with fellow countrymen Lloyd Glasspool to take home the Wimbledon gentlemen’s doubles trophy on Saturday morning.

Cash, who earned All-America honors in doubles and was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year while competing for the Cowboys, and Glasspool recorded a 6-2, 7-6 (3) victory to claim their first Grand Slam title.

The duo, which entered the event as the No. 5 seed, had already made history after becoming the first all-British pair of the Open era to reach the Wimbledon championship match.

🔼 Hardware Haul. Cash wasn’t the only former Poke to bring home hardware this weekend as OSU golf alum Taylor Gooch picked up the victory at LIV Golf Andalucia over the weekend.

Gooch hung on to his 36-hold lead to earn his fourth individual LIV Golf title and first since 2023. Gooch, who won the league’s Individual Championship in 2023, has now won two of the three events played at Valderrama on LIV Golf.

The 33-year-old followed his Saturday 5-under 66 with a 1-under 70 to hold off a hard-charging back that was headlined by Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm.

🔼 A Call To Remember. It was a phone call that Nolan Schubart will never forget on Sunday.

In the third round of the 2025 MLB Draft, Schubart received the call from the Cleveland Guardians.

The two-time All-American for the Cowboys was the 101st overall pick in the draft, which held its first three rounds today and will conclude with rounds 4-20 on Monday.

Schubart's career has seen him mash 59 homers, which ranks fourth in program history, and he averages a home run every 10 at-bats. He also ranks ninth all time at OSU with a .705 slugging percentage and 10th with 199 RBIs and owns a career 1.169 OPS.

🔼 He Just Keeps Running. Move over Forrest Gump, you’ve got company.

Musau dominated a race that included several multiple Olympians and professional athletes, claiming the victory by nearly eight seconds overall.

His time is the second-fastest ever run by a collegian indoors or outdoors and he is just the third collegian to ever break the 13:00 barrier after Northern Arizona's Nico Young and Harvard's Graham Blanks, who each did so indoors.
