Wearing #3️⃣5️⃣ this fall for the Cowboys is a rising star in redshirt sophomore LB Poasa Utu.

The Arlington, Texas native was primarily used on the special teams unit last season, but has played in 12 games over the past two seasons, recording four tackles overall.

After learning from veteran defensive presences like Nick Martin and Collin Oliver, Utu is looking to make noise this season for the Pokes.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Academic Aces. It’s been quite a run here for the OSU men’s golf squad.

That run continues this week when Preston Stout tees it up for his PGA Tour debut this weekend at the 3M Open in Minnesota.

The Richardson, Texas native is coming off being named the Ben Hogan Award’s Golfer of the Month for June and is set to tee off at 2:11 CST today.

🔼 On The Move. Earlier this week, one former Cowboy was on the move in the NBA.

Now, it’s two as Lindy Waters III signed a free-agent deal with the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.

After spending time over past four seasons with the Thunder, Warriors and Pistons, Waters III looks to secure a regular role for the young and upcoming Spurs after shooting nearly 40-percent from long range in his pro career.
