🔼  Five On It. Linebacker Bryan McCoy Jr. was named to the Butkus Award Preseason Watch List! He’s gearing up for his first season at OSU after transferring from Akron, where he put up some impressive numbers throughout the past three seasons. He led the team in tackles and earned all-conference honors the last two seasons. Semifinalists for the Butkus Award will be named on November 4.

🔼  Fantastic Four. Four men’s golfers were named Cobalt All-America Scholars! Ethan Fang, Gaven Lane, Eric Lee, and Preston Stout made the list, adding on to an impressive list of achievements for the squad.

David Thompson was one of the best to wear No. 2️⃣8️⃣! He ranks third on the all-time rushing list with 4,318 yards. He’s also the only other running back other than Barry Sanders to rush for more than 300 yards in a game. He ran all over Baylor in 1996, compiling 321 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
