BOONE PICKENS LEGACY EXPERIENCE

The Boone Pickens Legacy Experience will be open prior to OSU’s football game against UT Martin on Thursday. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED ON GAME DAY!

Free of charge, the 10,000-square-foot, world-class exhibit – located in the west end zone of Boone Pickens Stadium – offers an immersive experience into the life of Boone Pickens and serves as a tribute to the Cowboy legend.

📺 THE MIKE GUNDY SHOW

In the first episode of the Mike Gundy Show, Coach Gundy and Dave Hunziker discuss all the changes inside the Oklahoma State football program heading into the 2025 campaign. Coach Gundy shares his thoughts on the new Cowboy coaching staff, as well as what makes him excited for the new season.

🔼  Rockin’ Rookie. Running back Rodney Fields Jr. was named to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award watch list! He played in four games last season while taking a redshirt. He finished the year with 99 yards and a touchdown. He is also one of just three Big 12 players on the list.

🔼  Practice Makes Perfect. Oklahoma State men’s basketball will face defending SEC champion Auburn and SMU in exhibition games this fall. They’ll play Auburn in Birmingham, Ala. on Oct. 15. Then, they’ll take on SMU at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, Texas on Oct. 25. The Cowboys will open the regular season with six home games.

🔼  Time To Climb. Both cross country teams are ranked in the top-15 in the USTFCCCA Preseason Coaches’ Poll! The Cowboys enter the season ranked No. 3, while the Cowgirls came in at No. 14. This is the fourth-straight year the Cowboys have been ranked inside the top three to open the season. The season will begin this Friday with the Cowboy Preview at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course.

Former Cowboy Bob Fenimore was drafted No. 1️⃣ overall by the Chicago Bears in the 1947 NFL Draft! He was the first All-American in school history. In 1972, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Today, he holds a place in the OSU Athletics Hall of Honor, the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame, and the Cowboy Football Ring of Honor.
