🔼 Game Week! That’s right, y’all!

The Pokes are finally BACK this week as OSU welcomes its first competition of the 2024-25 season when the Cowgirl soccer squad battles the Cornhuskers of Nebraska on Thursday night in Lincoln.

Over the weekend, OSU tuned up with a scrimmage against Tulsa, coming away with a dominant 5-1 performance on the pitch.

🔼 Center Of Attention. Last fall, there wasn’t a single player on a power conference team that played more snaps than Joe Michalski.

Ever since arriving in Stillwater, Michalski has been a foundation on the offensive line for the Cowboys and late last week, he was recognized on a national level as he was named to the preseason watch list for the 2024 Rimington Trophy, given each year the the most outstanding center in all of college football.

After leading all power conference players with 1,035 offensive snaps played in 2023, Michalski returns in 2024 as one of OSU's key offensive leaders and one the top centers in the FBS.

Last season alone, Michalski was one of two FBS players to play more than 600 pass blocking snaps (617) without allowing a sack, earned honorable mention honors for Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year from the league's head coaches and was voted a season team captain by his teammates.

🔼 Among the Elite. Maja Stark continues to raise the bar.

This past week, Stark claimed the highest-ever finish by a former OSU women’s golfer at the Olympics, earning a top-10 spot in Paris.

She was one of just four golfers in the field to shoot par or better in every round at the event.

19 - the number of seasons that Coach Gundy has under his belt
entering the 2024 season, which will be his 20th at the helm of his alma mater.

166 wins, 102 conference victories, 12 bowl game wins,
just to name a few stats.

We can’t wait to see what year 20 has in store.

As we mentioned, it’s game week for OSU athletics with the Cowgirls soccer squad taking the pitch on Thursday night.

In OSU’s weekend exhibition win over Tulsa, junior Xcaret Pineda found the back of the net twice, a familiar occurrence for the Bolingbrook, Ill. native since she’s arrived in Stillwater.

Pineda enters the 2024 season with the most career collegiate points of any Cowgirl. How many points has she tallied in her two seasons?
