👏 WELCOME HOME!

This weekend in Stillwater was a special one for some of our own.

Friday night, OSU Athletics welcomed the 2024 Hall of Honor class to the exclusive club and to join its other 77 existing members.

This year’s inductees are Lauren Bay (softball), David Edwards (men's golf), Ross Flood (wrestling), Charles Howell III (men's golf), James Wadley (men's tennis), Brandon Weeden (football) and the 1965 men's track and field relay team of Dave Perry, John Perry, Jim Metcalf and Tom Von Ruden will be inducted as part of a ceremony this Friday.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Chuba Chuba! The saying may be “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” but for former Cowboy Chuba Hubbard, this one won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Coming into the week, the Panthers were one of the biggest underdogs, but Chuba and his crew went to work.

Hubbard put together a career day with 114 rushing yards and 55 receiving yards, with one TD. The 169 total yards is the highest single game today in Hubbard’s four NFL seasons.

🔼 And Another One. For the second time in two weeks, Cowboy tennis is bringing home some hardware.

This time, OSU’s Isaac Becroft captured the doubles championship at the Fayetteville Future with Texas' Timo Legout 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) on Saturday. Becroft and Legout went 4-0 on the weekend.

The win marks the second title for the Cowboys this season, the first from Ian Bracks at the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic.

🔼 Stopped Short. The comeback was coming, but the clock was not.

The 14th-ranked Cowboys found themselves in a dogfight all Saturday afternoon at BPS, and the comeback was there, but fell just short as the 12th-ranked Utes of Utah squeaked out a 22-19 win in Stillwater.

Rashod Owens and Brennan Presley both caught TD passes to lead the offense, while Trey Rucker continued his monster season with 14 tackles and two INTs in the contest.

🔼 Helping Hands. For four years, Adrianna Franch used her hands to stop a record number of shots and collect a mantle full of accolades.

While the former Cowgirl is still stopping shots at the professional level, she’s also using her hands to impact the community around her.

Franch, a member of the KC Currant of the NWSL, is a nominee for this year’s Lauren Holliday Impact Award.

Well done AD!

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Four.

Sunday’s rushing total of 114 yards marked the fourth time in Hubbard’s career that he had eclipsed the 100+ yard mark. He has exactly one such performance in each of his four seasons.

🤠 Let’s get this week started!
