🏀 SAVE THOSE DATES

You’ve waited months and now you can fill in those
calendars for some nights at GIA this winter!

On Thursday, the Big 12 released not one but TWO full conference hoops
schedules as the 20-game men’s schedule and 18-game women’s
schedule were unveiled for the first time.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Point Taken. In this conference, every single point is crucial, especially on the road.

The 23rd-ranked OSU soccer squad earned exactly that on Thursday night, battling the Cougars of BYU to a 2-2 draw in Provo.

Xcaret Pineda and Nicole Ray both picked up a goal and an assist on the night to lead the Cowgirls. Ray, a native of Alpine, Utah, was playing less than 30 minutes from her hometown.

🔼 Carolina Cruisin. For OSU women’s tennis’ Ange Oby Kajuru, she’s beginning to enjoy fall in the Carolinas.

On Thursday, the veteran Cowgirl extended her stay at the ITA All-American Championships a little longer, punching her ticket to the Round of 16 of the singles main draw at the event.

Ranked fifth nationally, Kajuru, defeated No. 21 Annabelle Xu of Virginia in comeback fashion, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, to claim her spot in the third round.

On Friday, she will compete for a spot in the singles quarterfinals and look to secure an automatic bid in November's NCAA Individual Championships in Waco, Texas. She'll face No. 81 Catherine Aulia from Tennessee.

🔼 Our General. Yesterday, it was the William V. Campbell Trophy semifinals.

It’s been quite a week for veteran OSU quarterback Alan Bowman, who continues to be recognized for his contributions both on and off the field.

The Witten Award is the first college football honor to focus primarily on a player's leadership ability and recognize one's exceptional courage, integrity and sportsmanship.

Off the field, Bowman has also gained notoriety for his strong work in the classroom, including a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team last season, and time spent serving the community. That time is highlighted by partnering with Access Scholarships to award a $1,000 "Sack the Stigma" scholarship to a student who recognizes the importance of speaking out about mental health, working alongside the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health to create awareness about the 988 Oklahoma Mental Health Lifeline, speaking to youth groups in various cities about the importance of mental health and volunteering to help raise funds for Cowboys vs. Cancer.

🏈 BOUNCE BACK TIME

As Kelly Clarkson told as many years ago, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

The 20th-ranked Cowboys will be looking to show just that as they head to the Little Apple for a second-straight top-25 showdown tomorrow afternoon.

On the docket for the Pokes, a big time road test at #23 Kansas State.
