Bedlam Once Again Belongs to The Cowboys

Good Morning Cowboys and Cowgirls. In case you needed a reminder, the OSU baseball boys provided you with one again this weekend.

What a weekend on the diamond for the Cowgirls and Cowboys, and oh yeah, the victories just keep piling up on the courts for the Orange & Black.

We’ll recap yet another big weekend for OSU and so much more! Check it all out below!

🔺 Who’s State? Our State. A record-setting weekend at O’Brate saw a thrilling Bedlam series that once again went the way of the Cowboys.

After splitting the first two games of the three-game set, OSU won an epic Sunday battle, 9-5 to claim the series.

Donovan LaSalle launched a three-run bomb to highlight a six-run seventh inning that was key to the Cowboy win.

🔺 More Hardware Please. Clean some more space in the Greenwood Tennis Center. We’ve got more hardware on the way.

For the first time since 2017 and fourth time in program history the OSU women’s tennis team claimed at least a share of the Big 12 title with another undefeated weekend with victories over Houston (4-0) and #55 UCF (4-3).

The two wins moves the spring ledger to a record-setting 23-0, including an 11-0 run through Big 12 play.

A win in next Sunday’s regular season finale would clinch the outright regular season title for the Cowgirls.

🔺 Houston, We Have A Problem. Truly everything is bigger in Texas, including the OSU offense.

The seventh-ranked Cowgirls extended their win streak to five straight with a series sweep of Houston, outscoring the Cougars by the tune of 24-3 for the weekend.

Offensively, Caroline Wang not only set records, but just blistered the ball all weekend, finishing 7-for-9 with 10 RBIs and four runs scored for the Cowgirls. Her four HRs on the weekend pushed her to 15 on the season and helped her set a new program record for most HRs in a single season by a catcher in program history.

In the circle, Lexi Kilfoyl and Ivy Rosenberry continued to shine, allowing just three earned runs and eight total hits in the three games.

🏀 WELCOME HOME, COWBOY!

Before we know it, Coach Lutz and the Cowboys will be taking
the floor at Gallagher-Iba Arena to do battle with the opposition.

But last week, Lutz made his first impression
with the OSU family at the introductory press conference.
