Cowboys Prepare For The Desert
TGIF Cowboys and Cowgirls. “Cowboy Country, Let’s Ride”
We feel like Coach Gundy would give a pretty solid Russell Wilson impression on that one, what do you think?
We’re back with a third exclusive episode of “The Ride” as the Cowboys prepare for Week 2.
We’ve got updates from the pitch and some legends joining the Orange and Black.
What all is stirring in today’s Brew? Check it out below!

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 “Man, There’s A Lot Of People Here.” The BPS atmosphere is not something everyone gets a chance to experience.
That number is even fewer for those who experience it from the sideline or the field.
Defensive lineman Justin Kirkland got his first taste this weekend and we think we left a bit of an impression on the transfer from Tech.

We’ve brought back All-American Taylor Somers as an Assistant Distance Coach 🤠

🔼 Legend-wait for it-dary. We keep telling you, there’s something about this place… legends just want to be a part of OSU.
The runners weren’t the only one getting some new help as there was also a new addition in the stables.
🔼 Take 5. We talked all week about the potent Cowgirl futbol attack.
It took 92 seconds for OSU to display that offensive power taking a quick 1-0 lead on the road on Thursday afternoon at Arkansas State.
For the next 88+ minutes, it was the Orange and Black defense that held strong, allowing the 1-0 lead to be enough for a ✋th straight victory. It’s the fifth winning streak of five or more games since the start of the 2019 season for OSU.
The goal off a header from Mollie Breiner, who became the 11th different Cowgirl to score this fall. Grace Gordon had three saves to register her second shutout of the season.

The good thing is once a Cowboy learns a trail, it’s embedded in their brain.
Well, this group of Cowboys is headed to the desert for the third straight year when OSU travels to Tempe to take on future Big 12 foe Arizona State tomorrow night on FS1.
The game marks the third consecutive season that the Orange and Black have played in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
The conclusion of the 2021 season saw the Cowboys claim a Fiesta Bowl trophy with a win over Notre Dame, while OSU returned to the Valley of the Sun a year later to take on Wisconsin in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. This year's non-conference game at Arizona State will mark a third consecutive year with a trip to the desert, as well as a third different venue played in.
Let’s dive into this weekend’s matchup.
