🎥 BACK IN BLACK
While the conclusion of the 2023 season was only a few weeks ago, the Cowboys continue to reload for the 2024 season.
One of those Pokes returning for another year in Stillwater? Collin Oliver.
Let’s check out the OSUMax rewind machine and throw it back to early in the fall and the Players’ Voice with Oliver.
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Cowboy Up! The sweet tea and Carolina barbecue may have tasted a little better on Friday night for the OSU wrestling squad.
The ninth-ranked Cowboys picked up their third ranked win of the season and improved to 5-0 with a 22-12 victory over #4 NC State on Friday night in Raleigh.
🔺 Dehorned. The OSU Cowgirls have faced plenty of adversity this season.
Adversity can reveal character and that’s what the squad put on display on Saturday in Fort Worth, grinding out a 67-59 win over #23 TCU.
The Orange and Black flexed their defensive muscles, holding the Horned Frogs to just 30-percent from the field.
Redshirt freshman Praise Egharevba had a breakout performance with a team-leading and career-best 14 points and seven rebounds to lead four in double-figures. Stailee Heard (11 pts, six rebounds, six assists), Quincy Noble (11 pts) and Lior Garzon (10 pts) all joined her in double-figures.
🔺 Playoff Pokes. The NFL postseason is set and the Pokes are ALL over it.
Eight different Cowboys are part of the playoffs with Tylan Wallace and Justice Hill, members of the AFC North winning and top-seeded Baltimore Ravens, leading the way.
Mason Rudolph and Jaylen Warren and the Steelers will travel to Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, while A.J. Green and the Browns will take on Houston on Saturday afternoon.
Emmanuel Ogbah and his Dolphin teammates take on reigning NFL Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday evening.
Jason Taylor and the Rams travel to Detroit to take on Malcolm Rodriguez and the Lions on Sunday night to close out the first round action for the former Pokes.
🔺 Working Overtime. Freshman Brandon Garrison had a career day and the Pokes show they can play with the best in the country.
But the 18th-ranked Baylor Bears need overtime to pull out a 75-70 win at GIA on Saturday afternoon.
Garrison finished with 20 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in the contest.
