🎧 OSU MAX PODCASTS

Grab your cup of coffee, relax your chair and listen to the sweat tones of Kenny G.

No, no, no… not that Kenny G. OUR Kenny G.

That’s right, we’ve got a look back on a record-breaking fourth straight trip to the WCWS in eight years of Stillwater for OSU head softball coach Kenny Gajewski. He’ll recap the season, what made this group so special and what he’s excited about for the future of the program.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Hey! We Know That Guy! Two down, five to go.

Eric Dailey Jr. and his Team USA U19 squad opened up play at the FIFA U19 World Cup this past weekend with wins over Madagascar (136-69) and Slovenia (77-72). With the two wins, a spot in the bracket phase is secured.

In just over 32 minutes of action, Dailey has scored 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds, grabbed four steals, dished out two assists and shot 55-percent from the field for Team USA.

Dailey and his teammates will round out the group stage with a 8 a.m. showdown with Lebanon on Tuesday, June 27.

Fans can stream every game live and on demand at youtube.com/fiba.

🔼 A New Graf. Don’t worry, we’re not going to make you do any math here, we’re just excited to welcome Macy Graf to the OSU Cowgirl family.

Graf will rejoin former youth softball teammates Haidyn Sokoloski and Audrey Schneidmiller in Stillwater.

A native of Aledo, Texas, Graf started 30 games and played in 40 as a freshman at Mississippi State in 2023, batting .291 with a .450 on base percentage and a .407 slugging percentage. Primarily an infielder for the Bulldogs, Graf reached base in 30 games and was fifth on the team in runs scored

🔼 Smart Move. On the eve of last week’s NBA Draft, one of our own learned he was headed to a new team. Instead of being nearly 1,700 miles from Stillwater, OSU legend Marcus Smart will now be less than 500 miles away as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 10-year NBA veteran who won NBA Defensive Player of the Year accolades last year spent his entire career with the Boston Celtics, but will be a critical veteran piece on a young, hungry Memphis team.

🔼 Keep Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’. OSU golf alums have been taking a page out of Limp Bizkit’s book lately with the way they’ve attacked the courses recently.

The hot streak continued this past weekend with Rickie Fowler lighting up the golf world yet again by posting a 60, yes a SIXTY, at the Travelers Championship on Saturday. He went on to shoot a 16-under for the tournament en route to a T-13 finish. Fowler has now finished in the top-15 in eight of his past nine starts.

In total, there were four former Cowboys in the top-30 at the Travelers Championship. Joining Fowler were Austin Eckroat (13-under, tied for 24th) and Wyndham Clark/Viktor Hovland, who both were 12-under, tied for 29th.

On the DP Tour, Rasmus Neergard-Petersen shined at the BMW International Open in Munich, Germany, shooting a 10-under to finish in the top-10.

It was the pro debut for Neergard-Petersen, who was in contention all weekend.

🔼 Still Doing Her Thing. It’s been four years since Sinclaire Johnson donned the Orange and Black, but she still can blister the track with the best of them.

Over the past four years, the former Cowgirl star has been a monster on the pro circuit and this past weekend, her success was on display once again.

At the Stumptown High Performance Meet, she torched the field in the 1500m, breaking the tape in 4:00.77, nearly 10 seconds faster than her nearest competitor.

🏈 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 68 DAYS

6.8 yards per carry. Yes, you read that right. That’s what Barry Sanders brought to the game, every single time he touched the ball.

Sanders currently holds the program record for yards per carry at 6.8. We think that’s pretty good.

Maybe that Sanders guy had a career ahead of him in football, what do you think?
