📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Denis The Menace. It was a busy first night in Eugene at the NCAA Championships and Denis the Menace was up to his usual tactics.

No, he wasn’t bothering Mr. Wilson, he was dominating the 10k yet again.

That’s right, OSU freshman star Denis Kipngetich secure first team All-America honors with a third-place finish in the event.

Kipngetich joins a long history of Cowboy All-Americans in the 10,000 Meters, becoming the ninth Cowboy in program history to earn the honor.

The Cowboy freshman wraps up an incredible debut season in the orange and black, with first team All-America honors in both cross country and outdoors, as well as second team honors indoors. His fourth-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships led the Cowboys to their fifth NCAA title in program history in November.

🔺 Heating Up Heandog. As we enter the summer months and temps are rising, so is former OSU star Andrew Heaney for the reigning champs.

Heaney, in his second season with the Rangers, is coming off one of his best outings of the year, tossing six scoreless innings in a win over the Marlins this past weekend.

In the 6-0 win, the southpaw struck out seven, walked none and allowed just four hits. He has now tossed 8.2 consecutive scoreless innings dating back to May 23rd.

On the year, he holds an ERA of just 3.99, which would be his third lowest of his 11 MLB seasons.
