📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Earning Their (Stars and) Stripes. It’s been quite a year for the OSU softball squad and they aren’t planning on stopping any time soon.

This week, the Cowgirls grabbed a trio of national honors heading into their Thursday WCWS matchup with #4 Florida.

OSU’s Lexi Kilfoyl was named a D1Softball and Softball America First Team All-American, while the freshman duo of Rosie Davis and Karli Godwin received freshman All-American honors by Softball America

🔺 An Elite Lott. For the fourth time since 2011, the Cowgirls took home the NCAA Elite 90 Award.

This time, it was OSU’s Katie Lott.

Lott, majoring in psychology, has maintained a 4.0 GPA through two years in the program.

The sophomore outfielder is the fourth Cowgirl Softball player to receive the award, which is the most by any team in the sport of softball. She joins Chelsea Garcia (2011) and Jules Callaham (2021 and 2022) as recipients for the prestigious award. Lott's recognition marks the third time in the last four Women's College World Series that a Cowgirl has received the award.

The Elite 90, an award founded by the NCAA, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The Elite 90 is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships.

🔺 Poll Position. While most OSU students are heading into the summer, plenty of Pokes are still in action, including 1️⃣1️⃣ members of the track & field squad heading to NCAA Championships next week in Eugene, Ore.

Those Cowboys and Cowgirls will head to the final event of the year as members of top-25 squads as both programs landed in the top-25 this week with the men sitting at #14 and women at #22.
